  17. MultiPrint is a program for printing text files to both sides of a page,
  18. in multiple columns, and very small, or very large, high quality fonts,
  19. with optional justification, paragraph reformatting, and bold/italics.
  20.  
  21. MultiPrint makes use of many Amiga OS Release 2.04 features, and so
  22. requires at least this revision of the operating system. These features
  23. include Compugraphic Scalable Font technology, to produce characters to
  24. the correct size at the full resolution of the, printer, and the correct
  25. aspect ratios.

  31. This is version 1.7, an update to version 1.6.
  32.  
  33.      Version 1.7 fixes a few bugs that crept into the last
  34.      released version, and adds a few significant features.
  35.  
  36.     Bugs fixed :
  37.       1. Printing of inter-file headers (via the +T flag) corrected
  38.          to print before the new file, instead of after the old.
  39.          This means it prints on the same sheet/page/column as the
  40.          new file (dependant in the L/C/P/S flags).
  41.       2. Corrected allignment of even pages when not printing to
  42.          both sides of a sheet.
  43.       3. Check option didn't work anymore :-(
  44.          Has now been removed, as it is superceded by the Preview
  45.          option, which is much simpler and more flexible (ie works
  46.          with reformating and justifying).
  47.       4. Now frees memory from page-in-progress when aborted.

  49.     Features Added:
  50.       1. Preview function. Allows a look at how the document will
  51.          appear, without printing.
  52.          Very useful when printing pre-formatted, or unformattable
  53.          files (source code), to check if they are fitting in the
  54.          columns.
  55.       2. HPShingle option added. Can greatly improve print quality
  56.          on Hewlett Packard printers from the HP500C up.
  57.          (Currently HP500C and HP550C)
